WHO WE ARE
LocalCity is a hyper-local search platform, developed by Revenue Garden to connect users and providers in local markets.
Our mission is to digitally connect local markets around the world.
WHAT WE DO
LocalCity is an easy to use hyper-local search platform that connects users and providers in many ways. We enable our community to find local items by:
As we add more listings, interesting people, new business ideas, valued co-workers, great products and needed services will be increasing accesible in local markets.
Local markets that lack a mobile search tool often are made up of people who pass by a range of opportunities they are unaware of during their routine commutes home.
LocalCity makes it convenient for people to locally explore many undiscovered items that offer tremendous value. Try LocalCity to realize more value where you live.
After visiting local communities in different states, our CEO saw how the growth potential of these areas was under realized. We felt local people had thousands of mobile devices in hand but very few mobile solutions and tools to engage locally.
Local discovery other people, new places and more things needed a platform.
We saw a pain point no one else cared to address. It was clear to us that local growth opportunities were being woefully under-served. So, we took on the task.
We began talking with more and more people to learn what was really important.
Next, we converted their stated needs, wants and desires into a set of software requirements, and built LocalCity - a hyper-local search platform to connect users and providers. Connecting people to growth in local market shapes our business.
We think sustained human interaction is vital to hyper-local search. It drives our effort to curate and verify the user and provider data results we publish on LocalCity.
Our approach to using more humans - and less machines - for hyper-local search is consistent with our advocacy of people and their businesses.
We are confident this approach will help create long-lasting connections in each neighborhood we serve.
Primarily using human resources to verify data may be less efficient, but it's certainly more authentic.
ROOT FOR LOCALCITY
We believe the answer to "Why should I use LocalCity?" is quite simple.
Growth for every demographic, in every neighborhood community, across the US.
Growth is now a global issue principally realized in local markets. If you support LocalCity, you're an advocate for expanding healthy, productive living for all. Without personal and economic growth, universal American values are much more elusive.
LocalCity offers a list of growth-oriented solutions that many other local platforms simply do not offer in the local markets they serve. Our competitive advantage over any other local search and listing platform is clear.
By offering a modernized, mobile-first hyper-local search platform, augmented by value added, premium and enhanced services, LocalCity helps users and providers realize better jobs, safer housing, smarter transportation and many more local benefits.
Join us as we invite more of your neighbors to use LocalCity. Our goal is to help you contribute to the economic growth local communities need across the US.
CHECK OUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Our purpose is to help people maximize local market opportunities, seed local economies, create new ways for people, places and things to work together and bring measurable growth and benefits to diverse communities. That's LocalCity.

OUR DIGITAL DNA
Prior to launching LocalCity, our Founder & CEO, Glen Kelly Williams, gained valuable experience working in digital units for global & national corporations.
Glen's digital business exposure includes working on teams that provided products and services to tens of millions of subscribers online. His work represents the digital foundation for the strategy we employ with LocalCity.
Below is a partial list of his corporate brand experiences in many industries:
In 2009, Glen founded Revenue Garden - a boutique digital consultancy - to provide services to clients under his own brand. In 2016, LocalCity was launched from Revenue Garden Labs, the closely-held innovation arm of Revenue Garden.
At LocalCity, our hyper-local search solution doesn't start with the tactics used in the past. It honestly starts with great people we serve in local communities who've expressed what they need, in today's terms and for the years to come.
BUILDING GREAT PRODUCTS
LocalCity's approach to building great products is rooted in what really matters to people and the businesses they manage. Growth. Without it, we all slowly fall apart.
We look to build smart, simple solutions that connect local users and providers and then we openly ask for their feedback. When local users and providers tell us what they want, need and can’t do without, we ultimately build more relevant solutions.
BEING ACCOUNTABLE TO USERS
LocalCity constantly works to maintain user accountabilty. It ensures we do not forget to ask the important questions of "what" and "why" to our users. Without this insight, it'd be much more difficult for us to deliver on our business mission and purpose.
Constantly assessing our business goals and aspirations requires that we also ask ourselves if we are providing a functional service we find useful in our own business.
We repeat this business process, over and over again - to ensure we have clarity.
Being accountable is where we best define "how we will serve" local users and providers. Over the long term, we truly feel it's a great way to run a business, service customers and build friendships along the way.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
One of the biggest hurdles to growth, in many local markets, is the lack of awareness of essential items that should be accessible via mobile devices. While other local sites list people, places and things, they do it on disparate, disconnected platforms.
And no other platform has a mission to support local community growth like ours.
It's clear local markets need improved mobile tools to increase exposure. We feel better local search solutions will drive a range of opportunities for users and providers. As our listings expand and increase in relevancy, people will prosper.
For example, people understand the business development concept behind companies seeking growth by filling sales pipeline with new "market" opportunities.
In cases where professional resources are looking for new "career" opportunities, people tapping network of colleagues for work advancement makes total sense.
Yet, when it comes to building a pipeline of new "personal" opportunities, people typically do not actively make similar efforts to realize personal enjoyment.
Visiting restaurants. Attending local shows. Getting a car wash. Having a date.
All of these opportunities represent forms of enjoyment, balance and active living.
By combining personal interests and professional opportunities on a single platform focused on a defined, hyper-local market, people have a new and valuable tool.
INTRODUCING NEIGHBORS TO NEIGHBORS
Community building is a factor of how much time spent with neighbors and friends.
We believe that if people could leverage a mobile tool for local discovery and exploration, the concept of people filling their personal pipelines with more valuable connections, transactions and opportunities (that are a few miles from where they live, play and work), it will result in increased exposure for local markets.
LocalCity is working to unveil more opportunities for people to enjoy life in their community, meeting and engaging with other people, in new places, openly discovering things that ultimately lead to valued connections and relationships.
ALIGNED PARTNER VALUES
At LocalCity, our team wholeheartly believes in the old adage that says "two brains are better than one". When it comes to the Internet, we consider building great partnerships, based on mutual values, is a clear sign of sensible entrepreneurship.
We believe no business succeeds on an island. Indeed, our push to align partnership value with our values is equal parts of art and science for our business.
The Internet, by its very nature and structure, is a network of connected endpoints dependant upon unique partnerships. Our task is to align LocalCity's goals with those of intelligent partners who share our unique vision for local market growth.
Scorecards are a key component in our partner alignment program.
We use them to measure contribution with select strategic external partners (e.g. key suppliers, customers, and alliances). We do this because we believe you can't manage what you don't measure in business.
Local businesses hoping to survive long term will have to remake themselves as mobile providers capable of meeting the modern needs of mobile local users.
In many cases, LocalCity will be focused on building a portfolio of solutions to help users and providers create partnerships to cope with new market challenges ahead.
WHAT WE LEARNED
As we talked with people and herd their feedback, it formed some central themes.
Sharing a few of themes illustrates the purpose and potential of LocalCity. They are:
We've also come to see that helping people and organizations discover deals, save time and earn money is a pretty cool thing to do.
The LocalCity experience offers much more than a modern search solution, by focusing on exposure, connectivity and mobile transactions in local markets.
Now that mobility has become central to how we live, search and communicate, we are at work on how to bring new innovations to hyper-local markets because - recognizing they need faster mobile adoption, increased productivity and more ways to embrace new technologies more than ever before.
In local areas worldwide, where new technologies are poised to reduce or eliminate many traditional employement processes, we think local market participants must embrace automation, find ways to leverage it and thrive in changing digital markets.
A PLAN FOR GROWTH
When it comes to mobile tech, we consider local markets to be ripe ecosystems at varying stages of adoption. LocalCity sees distinctive potential for our growth plan.
Our CEO's college economics professor once taught "inefficient markets drive to inflated prices". When it occurs today, people pay more and buy less locally - fleeing to cyber deals from remote providers - which works to restrict local economic growth.
LocalCity works to combat:
A NEED FOR TRANSPANCY
LocalCity is an advocate for transparent prices. We want users and providers to circulate more dollars in local markets to benefit those who live and work in these communities. Exposure is one of the methods we think accomplishes this objective.
In more than five thousand (5,000) local US markets, we see concerning signs of communities struggling with issues that include automated technology, changing populations, reductions in local jobs and the need to foster diversity across America.
For example, when it comes to the fast-developing Internet of Things (IoT) - which is widely viewed as the next big wave of modern technology - the majority of US local markets are not well positioned to implement city-wide, real-time digital connectivity.
If we're going to create vibrant "connected communities", LocalCity believes deeper human connections are required to realize transformative local market growth.
EARLY STAGE OPPORTUNITY
LocalCity is an early stage venture well positioned for active fundraising activities in 2017. We intend to begin marketing our capital investment opportunity to prospective investors in the state of Georgia before expanding into other markets across the US.
INVEST GEORGIA EXEMPTION (IGE)
The Invest Georgia Exemption is a federal exemption to the 1933 US Securities Act. It allowed the state of Georgia to pass state laws governing intra-state investments, by Georgia residents, into unregistered securities of Georgia based companies.
By creating viable pathways for Georgia incorporated businesses to raise capital from the citizens of Georgia, IGE is groundbreaking crowdfunding legislation that underscores a fertile environment for funding early stage ventures in our state.
In 2017, LocalCity will apply for an IGE exemption to effectively streamline the registration requirements for LocalCity to issue securities in our intra-state market.
Certain IGE parameters enable LocalCity to offer equity and/or debt securities in our business with the goal of raising up to $1M in funding within a 12-month period.
IGE was adopted in December 2011 by the Commissioner of Securities for the State of Georgia. Its stated purpose is to help Georgia-based businesses expand their operations, as a result of greater access to growth capital in the state of Georgia.
As it pertains to securities offerings conducted on an intrastate basis, between issuers and investors who reside in and do business in Georgia, the overall goal of IGE is to help firms like LocalCity further develop and create more Georgia jobs.
LocalCity intends to formally offer its common stock in the state of Georgia in 2017.
We intend to raise funding up to the maximum amount of capital that allowed in the state of Georgia under IGE.
LocalCity equity and/or debt offerings will be advertised, marketed and offered for sale under IGE to both non-accredited and accredited investors who are legal residents of the state of Georgia.
MEETING IGE REQUIREMENTS
To comply with IGE requirements, LocalCity hereby provides a public announcement of our intent to issue intra-state securities offerings under Georgia law.
LocalCity's management team will inform prospective investors, in writing, via a formal Private Placement Memorandum (PPM) that:
The LocalCity securities offering will be subject to certain written notifications.
Owners of privately-held LocalCity securities may not transfer their ownership position without written approval of LocalCity.
Terms and conditions will be detailed in the LocalCity Securities Purchase Agreement, which must be executed by and between LocalCity ("Issuer") and any/all prospective investors ("Purchaser") of our initial offer of securities.
All transactions to purchase and/or transfer ownership of LocalCity securities must be recorded in the LocalCity Corporate Stock Owner Registry.
To qualify for the exemption, LocalCity must disclose that our business meets general IGE requirements, which includes but is not limited to our business:
PRESS RELEASES AND KITS
LocalCity has not released any public press announcements in 2016. We will create a formal press pacakge that includes various promotional media assets in 2017.
WE LOVE MEDIA
LocalCity finds the availability of content marketing tools to be quite extensive, with seemingly no shortage of data about consumer behaviors. Yet, despite the availability of content, it's not the reason we love to use media in our business.
We love media because it represents authenic, insightful feedback. We consider this vitally important to our business.
Social media is represented by comments posted by people on our platform and our network of 3rd party sites. Media provides a way for people to express themselves and it creates a forum once primarily controlled by a few traditional media outlets.
We think people will use and respond to hyper-local search, if the tools we offer to access information are easy to use and uniquely relevant to their local community.
WE SUPPORT SEO
Using social media improves search engine optimization and rankings.
LocalCity looks to create ways to boost third party SEO for our local providers by driving increasing volumes of local user traffic to their websites and businesses.
Google constantly updates its algorithms to rank websites in their search results.
At LocalCity, we believe our use of social media will be an important SEO driver for local users and providers. We intend to actively generate local content and posts.
As Google bots index the LocalCity content included in our Search Results and Search Detail Pages, our links to your social media pages will help your business.
